Tuition and Fees

For the third year in a row, United is holding tuition rates steady. That means no increase for current or new students. In addition, United is pleased to continue offering its Tuition Guarantee that ensures the tuition rate you start with is the tuition rate you graduate with.

Budgeting for Your First Year at United

Direct charges for tuition and fee rates are set on an annual basis by the Board of Trustees. Variable expenses such as books, transportation and personal living expenses are set by the Office of Financial Aid and are based on average student expenses and federal guidelines.

HOUSE OF STUDY SCHOLARSHIP

50% OF TUITION

For eligible new students entering a House of Study. Limited scholarships available for each House of Study. *Please see the Hispanic House of Study page for more information on special tuition rates.

BISHOP CHRISTIAN NEWCOMER

$1,000 PER SEMESTER

The Bishop Christian Newcomer Academic Scholarship is named for the third bishop in the Church of the United Brethren in Christ. This scholarship is based on academic merit and promise for pastoral ministry.

JOHN & MARY BONEBRAKE SCHOLARSHIP

$500/SEMESTER

General scholarship for incoming Master and Doctoral students.

THE REV. ELLA NISWONGER SCHOLARSHIP

VARIES

This award is available for new students who are certified candidates of the United Methodist Church. Applicants must be pursuing a Master of Divinity degree, Master of Arts in Christian Ministries degree, or Master of Ministry degree.
